A 3D advert told like a short comic, with an unwanted tick cast as the main character.
The idea
This digital spot for Elanco AdTab tells a small story instead of running through product features. Comic panels frame the action, and the tick gets enough personality to carry the film without making the message hard to follow.
The main task was balancing a light tone with a clear message. The shots behave like consecutive comic panels, while camera movement, lighting and rhythm keep them connected as one film rather than a slideshow.
I made the 3D animation, character and environment models, and sound design. Colleagues produced the middle segment. This film complements the Elanco product renders shown in a separate project.
