Sooo Milker
A trip through an imaginary ice cream factory, where three flavours run through their own small 3D production lines.
The idea
“Sooo Milky” takes place inside an imaginary ice cream factory. Three colour-coded production lines assemble the chocolate, milk and fruit versions in short loops. It is brighter and quicker than the Grand films we made around the same time.
Behind-the-scenes production films were the starting point, but we replaced a real factory with a colourful, slightly impossible machine. Moving parts, flowing ingredients and precise connections use the satisfying rhythm familiar from process animations.
I developed the concept and storyboard, then made the 3D animation and sound design. The audio does more than illustrate the machinery: it organises the production steps and gives each flavour a distinct pace. A colleague wrote the closing line.
